Saturday was Susan's birthday. We had a birthday breakfast at our house. Yummy breakfast casserole, fruit, coffee and juice.

It is hard to believe the same amount of time it took for Anna Rose to grow inside me has passed and she is now 9 months old! She is growing and changing everyday. She is exploring her surroundings and learning new words...hi, ba-ba, da-da, mami, nana, up, bite, hap-py. She is finally starting to crawl but is really more interested in standing and practicing the walking. She is such a good baby and we couldn't love her more!

We took pictures of the kids for my mom's birthday. This picture is from that day. I will take 9 month pictures this weekend.

Perspective

Miss Anna 8 Months

I actually took these today. So she is technically 8 1/2 months. We've been a little busy. Jeff and I were in Denver on her 8 month birthday. Anna stayed with my sister for 9 days! Too long for mommy and daddy! I'll post pictures that they sent us of her stay (via the phone). For now, here are her 8 month pictures. She continues to amaze us and she is growing way to fast. She is clapping. She learned "up" and "down" thanks to her cousin Hannah. She says "da-da" "ba-ba" "bye-bye" "ma-ma" (sometimes). She is showing some interest in crawling. She will get up on all fours and then push back instead of forward. :) And today she pulled up in her crib (so down goes the mattress). We love her to pieces if you can't tell.

Our little Punkin

We took Anna to pick out a pumpkin for her first Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving. Patti's Flowers is this local place and she displays the flowers and pumpkins as if they are already at you house. Beautiful!

October 24 was the big day! Anna was in East TN with my family. It was weird to celebrate without her.

Happy Birthday Miss Pearl Caroline

Miss Pearl Caroline turned 2 on October 17th. We were heading out of town so I'm late with this post. Pearl is full of energy and has an independent, carefree spirit. We enjoyed her bright smile this summer! Happy Birthday Miss Pearl!
