Lazy Sunday

Wow! This week has been CRAZY! I'm not even sure why but Jeff and I both agree that we feel like we have been running nonstop for the past seven days. And then we ended a crazy week by having a yardsale with our new neighbors. Yes, we are crazy. But today was a different day. Jeff and Anna took 2 hour naps and then we laced up our walking shoes and headed to Radnor Lake. Words really can't describe how great it was to be outside in this beautiful natural habitat walking with my two favorite people. How great to experience God's creation and the peace that comes with just sitting and listening to the silence around you. Anna loved it and helped break the silence several times by squealing from excitement. How blessed we are to have days like today. Good family time!

We saw so many deer on our walk. They were not afraid (even of Anna's squeals) but often times stopped and posed. :)
This stroller rocks!
I'm lovin' this! Hey! I Rock!
Pit stop. Time for bottle.
"Hey, daddy! What's up?" I love this picture.
Two peas in a pod. She loves her daddy.

This was hard work. I need a nap.
so blessed.

Sweet Anna 7 Months

I'm so behind! We can not believe summer is coming to an end. Jeff is back to school. I'm working 3 days a week. We have a fantastic caretaker for Anna. I have many pictures to post from the summer and hopefully that will happen before Christmas :). Time passes so quickly but we are soaking up as much fun with Sweet Anna as we possibly can. She is full of personality and always has something to "chat" about. In the past month, she has started saying da, da and "singing" more. She is discovering more of her home as she rolls and scoots everywhere. At her 6 month appointment she weighed 17.7 lbs and was 25 3/4 inches long. I'm guessing she is close to 19 lbs now. Everyday we thank our Father for giving her to us and showing His love for us. She is a kiss from heaven.

so blessed

Anna 6 Months

Unbelievable! Miss Anna celebrated her 6 month birthday on Monday, August 18. We can not believe our baby girl is 6 months old. All we can say is that she is amazing and we are so blessed. She is a bundle of joy. She has started eating veggies and fruits and loves them all so far. She can sit up. She reaches for everything and put everything in her mouth. She loves books. She is waving and making all kinds of funny shapes with her mouth. She is delightful and we could not love her more. And yes...she looks just like her daddy. :)

Kiss, Kiss...I love those lips.

Carrots...yummy!

Little miss jefferina! I look just like my daddy in this picture.

I have more pictures to post from the summer. I'm so behind! I am now working 2 days a week and am still trying to get organized on my days off. Jeff is back to school and it is going great. His choir classes are big but the kids are great this year. We hired a nanny for Anna and she is WONDERFUL which makes going to work those 2 days much easier.
Everyday we recognize how good God is and how He has blessed us, our marriage and our family.
Peace.

Anna June 16

Anna went for her 4 month check up this morning. She is 24 1/4 inches long and weighs 13.3 lbs. She is in the 40th and 50th percentiles for weight, height and head circumference.

She is amazing! She just found this new voice, or should I say squeal. I think it is hilarious. Jeff is not so found of it. He says it sounds a bit like a dinosaur giving birth. :)

She is playing with her rings and her peek-a-boo toy. She stills love laying on her changing table and looking out the window and talking to her pink furry friend that hangs in the window (a pink furry wreath from her January shower).

Here are few pictures I snapped of her yesterday in one of her most precious outfits. The Lendas have been visiting and they gave her this outfit. Photos of their visit to came later and a post on Father's Day.

Our sweet baby girl! We love her!

A Week at the Beach

And a week was not long enough for this mommy! It always takes me about 3 days to realize I'm on vacation, for the wheels to quit turning and relaxation to kick in. Why is that?

We returned to FL this year, just a different area. We had a great time. The place we stayed has been completely rebuilt since being destroyed by a hurricane several years ago. It is located off the main highway and we were so surprised that there were not more people.

Anna had a great time getting reacquainted her Papa, Nana, Aunt Dena, and Cousins, Hannah and Cody. She loved the beach because she loves being outside. She enjoyed quality time in the condo with nana and papa in the afternoons. Jeff and I enjoyed quality time beside the ocean. Anna also loved the pool. She loves her bath time so this was not shocking. However, she couldn't figure out why there were other people in her big bath tub.

We took over 400 pictures with our new digital SLR camera. CRAZY! Here are just a few.

The Family

Sweet Baby Girl

"I love this place called the beach"
Cousins having fun in the sun.
My first dip in the pool.
" Mommy dipped me under. Not my favorite part but it was ok."

Jeff's family came over on Monday and spent the day with us.

More cousins having fun in the sun.

Maybe too much fun. Oh my!
"Did my feet hit the board?"
The two younger ones liked the pool more than the beach.

Three Months

Unbelievable! Anna was 3 months old yesterday. Where does the time go? We still think she is so amazing. Sometimes I look at her and my eyes are filled with tears of joy for God's rich blessing. On Valentine's Day, Jeff writes me a letter in this special book. His letter looks back over the past year of our life together, the good and the bad. Last February 14th, we had no idea that one year later I would be 4 days away from giving birth to our beautiful baby girl. God's timing is so perfect and I think we are overwhelmed by her everyday because we longed for her for many years.

Here she is at three months, smiling and just starting to giggle.

Happy Mother's Day

Mommy,
Keep singing to me every morning. Pretty soon I'll start singing with you.
And keep giving me kisses - I love them.
And keep talking to me. I'm just putting words together in my head.
Pretty soon, they will explode out of me and I'll talk as much as daddy! :)
love, anna rose (thanks to daddy for dictating)

I took these on May 9th. Anna is growing and changing every day! She is so fun! She "talks" and sings. She also found her thumb and loves it as much as she loves her paci...only for a few minutes. It is a good thing for mommy and daddy because she now pacifies herself in the mornings and we do not have to keep putting the paci in her mouth. :)

Happy Mother's Day! Just remember...every day is Mother's Day and let your mom know how special she is!

love,
me
